It seems I haven't been around for a while
And it's nice sometimes to see you all smile
So I just popped in to say hello
And I've got one thing to say before I go
Thanks for your time, your company, and the memories
I'll always hold them dear
Surely you won't worry though
You've nothing to fear
I'll be around again-
Happy New Year
Here's to hoping the next is as good as the last, folks.

Interesting
So today, while perusing youtube (which I do sometimes while I should be doing Latin, or outlining Apush Chapters) , I came across a pretty neat video. In it, George Carlin discusses some things. Some of it is pretty funny, while other parts could be considered rather philosophical. I enjoyed it, so I thought maybe some of you might enjoy it, too. Or maybe not. It is entirely up to you.

Homework
So. Tonight is kinda neat, because I don't really having any pressing homework. Well, I mean, I could do some Apush Outlines or something, but I'm really just not feeling it. Also, I could do some latin. Especially because there is this one Translation I was supposed to do, but I never turned it in (or started it, for that matter). It's really kind of funny, because I went over the translation with the teacher in a session or something. I'm wondering what she'll make of that. I have half a mind to delay it as long as possible, and then turn it in just out of the blue sometime in February or something like that. And I'll tell her "Oh my! I completely forgot about this. Anyway, here it is," and she seems pretty nice, so I suppose she'd take it. Not without a point deduction for tardiness, of course, but I think there is only a ten point penalty for late work. Or maybe I will do it now. Or maybe not.

Necessity
I'm not really sure what to write a blog about. But I am writing one anyway, out of pure necessity. If that is even how you spell it. But spelling doesn't really matter, as long as you get the main idea across. At any rate, I kinda feel like I should write about something. But I'm not sure what. Nothing really exciting happens. I mean, I could write all kinds of non-sense about what I ate for breakfast, or how it was particularly cold this morning on my ride to school. But that stuff is pretty run-of-the-mill. Not interesting, and not blog-worthy. Especially this blog. 'Cause its the best darn one there is. Period. No, I'm just kidding. But that's the typical kind of thing you expect to read after such a suspenseful buildup. And I couldn't leave you hanging. Or could I. . .?

Latin
So. Today in Latin, I survived (and solo, I might add) my first elluminate torture session with Christina Kauffman. It's a good thing that I didn't have one of those microphones, or she would've really known how clueless I was. All I had to do was type, and she seemed nice enough about it. Though, sometimes when she'd talk, I'd hear baby screams or something in the background. Maybe she has small children. And if that's the case, maybe she works at home. It seems like a pretty neet gig, being a virtual virginia Latin tutor. Maybe I'll do that. It probably pays pretty well. It can't be too hard. And I can have my small children scream at students if they do something wrong.

Windows
I was thinking just this morning about how much things have changed. Nowadays it's all about the computers. I still like the glass. Though, most of them (the new ones anyway) aren't even decent glass anymore. It's like some kind of plastic glass. You couldn't even break it if you wanted to.
